With Hollywood sniffing around, he is on the verge of becoming a cross-over star. But Floyd actually has integrity, and he is concerned about becoming "white famous" at any cost. Part of what keeps him honest is his adoring relationship with his young son, Trevor, and the effect his choices will have on the kid. But with the industry, his friends, and his babymama and love of his life Sadie all clamoring for him to seize the day and make serious Hollywood money, Floyd is constantly torn between his conscience and his career.

Jay Pharoah

Actor Jay Pharoah is quickly becoming one of the industry's most highly-anticipated leading men.  Starring and appearing in both film and televisions projects, he is an exciting presence with a great deal of momentum.

Pharoah is currently filming the lead role of "Floyd Williams" in the Lionsgate/Showtime series WHITE FAMOUS, set to premiere in October 2017. Tom Kapinos writes and executive produces the half-hour comedy series, alongside Jamie Foxx. Tim Story directs.

In film, Pharoah recently voiced a role in the Illumination/Universal animated movie SING alongside Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson and Reese Witherspoon. Jay's voice will next be featured in the independent animated comedy THE ADVENTURES OF DRUNKY alongside Sam Rockwell, Steve Coogan and Jeffrey Tambor. Previously, he played memorable supporting roles in the Lionsgate/CBS Films comedy GET A JOB, opposite Miles Teller and Anna Kendrick, Chris Rock’s film TOP FIVE for Paramount, Universal’s RIDE ALONG opposite Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, the independent film INTRAMURAL and FOX Searchlight’s LOLA VERSUS opposite Greta Gerwig. 

In television, Pharoah is well known for his spot-on impressions on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, of which he was a cast member for six seasons, and he voiced various roles on the Comedy Central series LEGENDS OF CHAMBERLAIN HEIGHTS. 

In standup, Pharoah's debut 1 hour special premiered on Showtime last year, and he headlines comedy clubs across the country throughout the year.
